About

I am Olivier Demain, an experienced educator and lecturer specialising in geopolitics, international economics, and globalisation, with a strong track record across leading institutions in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Currently, I teach at IDRAC Business School, AMOS Sport Business School, SUP’DE COM, Ecole 3A, where I deliver engaging and insightful courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. My teaching approach is rooted in academic rigour, real-world application, and a commitment to fostering critical thinking.

Professional Experience

IDRAC Business School (since November 2008)
I serve as a Geoeconomy lecturer, providing in-depth analysis of the intersection between economic policies, natural resources, and global geopolitics. I guide second-year Bachelor students through complex concepts, assessing the impact of geopolitical events on financial markets and international business strategies, and offering strategic insights into global economic trends.

Ecole 3A – International School of Responsible Management (since February 2023)
As a lecturer in Economics and Critique of Globalisation, I lead critical explorations of globalisation’s impact on societies, economies, and international policies. My courses empower Bachelor students to understand the driving forces, benefits, challenges, and inequalities associated with globalisation, with a focus on international economic development.

AMOS – Sport Business School (since September 2020)
I teach general economics and sports economics, sharing my passion for the economic dimensions of sport and providing students with a solid foundation in the field.

SUP’DE COM – Lyon Campus (since September 2016)
As a specialist in geopolitics and intercultural communication, I design and deliver modules that develop students’ understanding of global political dynamics and intercultural skills. My innovative, interactive teaching methods-including simulations and collaborative projects-have been met with consistently positive feedback.

All In Group (since September 2023)
I intervene in HGGSP for Première and Terminale students, equipping them with analytical tools to decode current global dynamics.
